About Us
Brilliant Brown Boys Book Club was founded by Chez Smith and is based in Chicago. Chez noticed that boys were not encouraged to read as often as girls and that reading often seemed like a punishment. Even with her own son. She decided to create Brilliant Brown Boys Book Club in an effort to boost boys reading confidence, by bringing them todgether to read and discuss ideas. Chez is a committed and dedicated youth advocate.
The Brilliant Brown Boys Book Club Sessions are facilitated by two of Chicago's well respected male educators. Participants will have a great time interacting with them while unknowingly getting a glimpse of Brilliant Brown Men in action.

Andre Russell
Mr. Russell studied at Spertus Institute and is a Behavior Interventionist at Learn Charter School, Hunter Perkins Campus. He is also owner of the "Dreezy Claus" brand and a active member of MW. St. John Grand Lodge (Joseph Lodge #12).
Donald Bailey
Mr. Bailey a devoted Husband and Dad is a graduate of Rust College and Dean of Students at Chicago International Charter School. He is an active community servant and a member of the Omega PSI PHI.
